We believe that businesses are responsible for achieving good environmental practice and operating in a sustainable manner and in accordance with ISO9001.
We are, therefore, committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral and fundamental part of our business strategy and operating methods.
It is our priority to encourage our customers, suppliers and all business associates to do the same.
Not only is this sound commercial sense for all; it is also a matter of delivering on our duty of care towards future generations.
Our policy is to:
Fine Cut Group’s manufacturing and procurement processes are fully compliant with the statutory requirements of RoHS Regulations. This directive aims to restrict certain dangerous substances commonly used in electronic equipment.
The following hazardous chemicals are not present in our products (or are within the permitted levels for raw materials used by Fine Cut Group Ltd) unless explicitly permitted for use in exempted products.
Fine Cut Group (trading as Labels Direct) holds documentary evidence from our suppliers of substrates, inks and solvents which confirm that these products as supplied to us conform to RoHS Regulations.
We receive assurances from our suppliers that substances we are using within the scope of REACH were pre-registered before: 30th November 2008.
None of the substances we use are likely to be substances of very high concern (SVHC).
We believe we have sufficient information to ensure that both our suppliers and ourselves can continue to supply all materials/parts within the full registration and effectively incorporate our uses as Identified Uses within the meaning of REACH.
