Stay Home Rally Plate – Supporting the NHS
News
Dragonfly is a division of Fine Cut Group, manufacturing Rally Plates for Classic Car events and rallies. Due to lockdown and the cancellation of events and rallies worldwide, not just nationally, Dragonfly had to take a backseat and wait out the storm.
With an understanding of how important these events and rallies are to the motoring community, the team at Dragonfly designed and created the “Stay Home” Rally Plate. This was firstly to commemorate the cancelled rallies of 2020 but to also show support for the NHS.
The design reflected the imagery seen across the country to support the NHS – featuring a rainbow, the NHS logo and the “Stay Home Rally” wording. These Rally Plates went from the seed of an idea to being uploaded to the online shop within just one working day ready to purchase.
100% of the profits from every plate sale were to be donated to NHS Charities Together – a charity that supports NHS staff and volunteers caring for Covid-19 patients.
In 5 days over £5000 was raised from the sale of the Stay Home Rally Plates, the support from the community, customers, likeminded car enthusiasts and Rally organisers was astounding! And a huge thank you goes out to everyone who kindly donated to the cause by purchasing a Stay Home Rally Plate.
The total raised for NHS Charities Together was £15,000 – you can read the full story here
