Fine Cut regularly work with a number of Medical Equipment manufacturers. In this instance we provide a bespoke service including a vast range of labels – often in a multitude of languages – including information diagrams and the control panel to the right.
To ensure a durable print finish, Fine Cut sub-surface printed the design with UV inks – which ensures no loss of print quality over time. It was also necessary to print a number of ‘Secret-till-lit’ legends, which would only appear once a light has been switched on behind the overlay – indicating an action of the machine – along with a number of filter windows. Finally, the control panel is applied with a textured UV surface to ensure no slippage when controlling the machine – an incredibly important factor when operating such crucial machinery.
In total the finished control panel consisted of 7 different screen print layers and was converted into over 9 languages, ranging from Swedish through to Japanese.
