Kate Moss to launch own jam, complete with custom labels

Kate Moss is rumoured to be building an empire with seven-year-old daughter Lila Grace as she bids to take over the world of jam.

As reported by The Sun, the supermodel will be boiling damsons collected from her country estate in the Cotswolds. According to an unnamed source, Moss has even sent some of her jam, complete with custom labels, to her celeb friends.

"Kate bought a load of expensive equipment because she's always been keen on the idea of making jam," said the source. "It started as a hobby, but she's taking it a lot more seriously after glowing feedback from her friends and family. She's hoping her plum conserve will be a hit with the public."

Moss has reportedly sought the advice of billionaire friend Sir Philip Green to help her get the jam out on shop shelves.

Lila Grace will be the sous-chef, claims the source: "It's great for mother-daughter bonding. Kate hopes the jam will give Lila a nice project to take over when she's older."

Apparently it's sparked a desire to improve her skills elsewhere in the kitchen. The source told The Sun: "She's been making enquiries about getting Jamie Oliver to give her cooking lessons. Maybe Kate will give Delia Smith a run for her money when she finally retires from the catwalk."

According to The Mirror, Moss bought a 10-bedroom Grade II listed building in the Cotswolds in 2004, where she's embraced village life and even puts her name down on the church flower rota.
