Peter Tyler, Fine Cut's Managing Director, drove a fantastic race at Snetterton at the weekend to achieve his first podium finish in the Radical SR1 Cup.
A passionate racing enthusiast with a long history of involvement in the sport, Peter is now competing in his second Radical SR1 championship which has proven to be big leap from his karting race days.
Taking the opportunity to compete in the high octane Radical SR1 Cup has given Peter the chance to really test his driving skills. Competing against a range of car enthusiasts, business people and the odd celebrity, Peter has firmly established himself as a driver to be reckoned with.
The thrilling race at Snetterton saw Peter capitalise on a red flag interruption and exciting four lap restart, which culminated in his first podium finish. Peter managed to make a fantastic getaway after the restart, putting pressure on the leaders and briefly holding onto second place. The electrifying finish saw Peter hold onto 3rd place, with only a 0.4 second lead over 4th.
All of us at Fine Cut would like to congratulate Peter on his achievement and would also like to thank the car's sponsors, Gold Arts, for their support.
