02nd September 2016 - Fine Cut

Fine Cut's annual award in the 'Bookbinder' - Journal of the society of bookbinders - has this year been won by A.E Housman for 'A Shropshire Lad'.

The book has been bound beautifully and decorated elaborately with mid-green goatskin, gilt edges and gold detail. Mark Harrison commented "I was influenced by the Arts & Crafts style, the words 'gold' or 'golden' occur ten times in the text"

Mark will receive the Fine Cut trophy as well as £100 of bookbinding supplies vouchers which can be redeemed from our extensive range of bookbinding equipment.
