We specialise in the manufacture of metal labels and nameplates, this division has grown exponentially over the last few years due to demand, for their durability and versatility.
Most new jobs we get are manufactured to the specification of a customer supplied artwork, however, a recent project to replicate an automotive plate from a vintage part supplied by the customer needed a slightly different approach. The plate needed to be scanned and digitally redrawn by the studio department to create an exact representation for the production process. Once approved, the manufacturing process for this replica plate consisted firstly of a chemical etch to achieve the artwork detail, a direct digital gloss black infill and lastly a precision laser cut profile.
