New Equipment

Monday, 27 July 2009

As a responsible manufacturer it is important to keep up to date with all advances within your particular sector. As such, Fine Cut has recently purchased two new machines to enhance our capabilities and increase production efficiency.

Firstly we have bought a replacement NewFoil print machine allow print much larger foil labels and jobs which incorporate more colours, as the head is considerably larger than our previous machines which will allow larger plates with more colour variations.
Further features of the machine will allow for individual labels utilising the inbuilt guillotine, and a much enhanced sign and seal unit again allowing finer adjustments to our labels. Finally, our print run will be faster and more efficient allowing for faultless foil printed labels.

Our other advancement is a new Die Cutting machine, which will be incorporated into our 'Direct Digital Process', allowing digitally printed labels to come straight from the press and through this automated new cutting machine with speed and increased accuracy. Also utilised for our Screen Printed Labels, this machine will help eliminate die cutting errors. The machine feeds sheets of printed labels into the cutting mechanism where camera sensors pick up printed targets allowing for fine and accurate adjustment of the cutter before cutting. It will allow Fine Cut to complete larger runs efficiently and within tighter time-scales.
