I have found that using a thin synthetic substrate for labelling tubes within a fridge and freezer environment offers excellent results for long term storage, specifically Fine cuts tube labels that wrap around the circumference of the tube and stick to itself as well as the surface of the tube. The low profile construction also offers excellent performance for storing tubes in racks eliminating excessive abrasion.
