We manufacture cast aluminium and CNC machined aluminium rotational moulding tools.

OPEN MIND HYPERMILL CAD / CAM is utilised to design the tooling and this data is available for customer verification before manufacturing if required. The master pattern equipment is CNC machined in house and finished by our traditional craft patternmakers.

We then source the highest quality aluminium castings from one of our suppliers within the Precision Sand Foundry Industry, quality castings that are straight and porosity free are fundamental to producing a top quality rotational mould tool.

Finecut toolmakers then clean the castings, we CNC machine all necessary areas, fit the tools, manufacture all inserts and loose pieces. The finish of the tools can be specified by the customer and can be finished to a high mirror finish if necessary.

Steel framework is then designed and manufactured to suit our customer’s plant; our extensive aluminium and steel welding facility can cope with all requirements.

Tools are then shot peened to suit your requirements before final assembly and inspection prior to shipment.

With careful casting procurement and all other phases carried out in-house by highly skilled patternmakers and toolmakers Finecut can guarantee supply of the highest quality tooling at very competitive prices.
